AL-PRO is accredited to determine site quality in accordance with the EEG and TR10 after 5, 10 and 15 years

Under the EEG 2017, the feed-in tariff scheme for electricity generated by onshore wind turbines was converted to a single-tier reference yield model. This entails an obligation to reassess site quality after 5, 10 and 15 years of operation. Under the EEG, this must be carried out by an accredited assessment body and is a prerequisite for the continued payment of feed-in tariffs. The procedure is regulated in Technical Guideline 10 (TR10) of the Fördergesellschaft Windenergien und andere Dezentrale Energien e.V. (FGW).

AL-PRO has developed its own software package for this purpose and successfully demonstrated its correct functionality and application as part of the FGW’s first interlaboratory test for TR10 on 27 July 2021.

Since 1 July 2022, AL-PRO has also been accredited by the DAKKs to carry out retrospective calculations following commissioning!

Only accredited testing laboratories that regularly demonstrate their technical competence in accordance with FGW requirements through interlaboratory tests are permitted to issue reports on site quality assessment following commissioning.
